For the 66th series of PYCF, we had invited Mr Samundra Ambuhang Subba, Research Officer at WWF- Nepal. The programme started with the welcome note and brief introduction of the speaker by Mr Saroj Basnet, EGH coordinator. Mr Subba had his presentation on the title, “Spatial ecology and movement behavior of snow leopards in Kanchenjunga Conservation Area, Nepal “.The talk elucidated the techniques of telemetry and it’s applications for studying the movement of Snow leopards. Through the same program Dr Dinesh Raj Bhuju, General Secretary of RHF expresses gratitude towards the former EGH coordinator, Ms Binita Pandey (March- August 2017) for her great contribution during her tenure at RHF and welcomes new EGH coordinator Mr Saroj Basnet (September 2017- February 2018). The program ended with closing remarks from Prof Dr Tej Bahadur Thapa, from Central Department of Zoology, TU and Board member of Resources Himalaya Foundation. Acknowledging guest speaker, he evoked all the participants to ponder on the precision of methodology used for research and also handed a token of appreciation to our guest speaker.
