Interaction programme on “Trade-offs and Benefits of Urbanization under Climate Change: Impacts, Mitigation and Adaptation”

On the 16 November 2018, Environmental Graduates in Himalaya and Resources Himalaya Foundation had organized an interaction programme on “Trade-offs and Benefits of Urbanization under Climate Change: Impacts, Mitigation and Adaptation” at Dr Pralad Yonzon Memorial Conservation Chautari.
Our guest speaker, Prof. Dr. Jürgen P. Kropp from Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), Potsdam, Germany and also the Member of the Board of Governors at ICIMOD, Kathmandu, Nepal focused the discussion on the scenario of urbanization under climate change and emphasized the importance of energy-efficient or less consuming cities.
