For the month of June, in our monthly programme ‘Sharing Experiences’, we had Mr Sanej Pd Suwal, a very young and agile researcher who is currently working on Butterfly at Suryabinayak Municipality, Bhaktapur. Narrating the challenges Mr Suwal faced while determining his career on butterfly research, he started his talks. He further elaborated about his ongoing project detailing its study design along with the emphasize on Pollard’s transect walk. Moreover, he described the value of statistical analysis which has been the major constraint on scientific research in context of Nepal. Lastly, he suggested the potential research topics on butterfly, yet to be done in Nepal.
